Quite a few things have happened in the past few days: Dance Chor show, Drumline Finals, and hanging out with friends. First off, Dance Chor, that was an awesome show (the half of it I saw, sorry Aeri I couldn't see tribute!). Aeri, lovely in red ^__^. Second off, good job fellow Drummers, we did well on saturday. Overall that day was pretty awesome. Getting 3rd isn't so bad, but hanging out with everyone was pretty fun. Something weird, Drumline seems to be famous now due to the movie "Drumline." It's quite cool, but I've come to find its just like American Pie's "One time at band camp," joke. "Do you throw your sticks at people?" says the girl in the car across the highway. lol. Bowling was fun, if we went bowling. The point of the night wasn't really to bowl, at least with me, but to hang out with friends and just have fun. More people went than expected, oh well. Turned out to be better. You know, now that I sit here, I don't have much to say. It's been 11 days since my last real update, and I figured I would have more to say. It's quite odd. I'm rather stressed with school right now. The full month is here, and all the finals stuff is coming in. The dreaded speech section has arrived in my English class, and the fact that something weird is going on with the stupid Research Paper is stressing me out as well. Spanish, its my last year so I'm just gonna try and leave with the best grade possible. Band, is band, the class I look forward to everyday. Geometry, not much to say bout that. Science, same thing. History, I'm a bit worried about due to the fact that I haven't been doing well and slacking off. So basically, English is my primary concern right now ( I HATE PUBLIC SPEAKING) and History my second concern. You know what? I totally forgot about the last subject... Mother's Day Mother's are the best. I love my Mother dearly. I don't know what I would do with out her. I'm especially glad that my friends like my Mother as well. Today, for Mother's day, I visited my Grandmother in the hospital. She isn't serisously injured or anything. And after that, the WHOLE family met and ate at a nice resturant. That hasn't happened in awhile. I love seeing my whole family together. Aside from my father and one of my uncles and aunts, everyone came. I was really hyper. And I hadn't laughed that much in awhile either. Well, I haven't written in awhile. So don't expect to see any poetry for awhile. Maybe after school is all over and summer is upon us. - Fire . |
